Fishing

Fishing on Brevoort Lake is truly a fantastic experience. A fishing license is required to fish on the lake. See the Department of Natural Resource's website here: http://www.mdnr-elicense.com/welcome.asp. Details of licenses (including season information and cost) can be found here: https://www.mdnr-elicense.com/common/popups/popframe.asp?url=licenses.asp.

Current cost for a resident fishing license (excludes Trout/Salmon) is $15.00. The same license for a non-resident is $34.00. Both are valid for one season, which runs from March 1st to Feb 28th.

Rowboats are available, if desired. There is also plenty of dock space if you'd like to bring your own boat - there are a few boat launches nearby. We also have a fish cleaning shed for your use that provides water, newspapers, etc.
